§1 Purpose of the house and bathing regulations
The house and bathing rules serve to ensure safety, order and cleanliness in the entire area of the Paracelsus-Therme and Sauna Pinea
§2 Binding nature of the house and bathing rules
- The house and bathing regulations and all other regulations are binding for users. The statutory regulations apply to the inclusion in the contract concluded at the cash desk.
- The staff or other representatives of the pool exercise domiciliary rights. Instructions given by staff or other representatives must be followed. Users who violate the house and bathing rules may be expelled from the premises. In such cases, the admission fee paid will not be refunded. The user of the pool expressly reserves the right to prove that in this case the pool operator is entitled to no compensation or a significantly lower compensation than the full admission fee. In addition, a ban from the premises may be issued by the management/operating company or its representatives.
- The marked and designated areas of the company are under video surveillance for security reasons. The provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act, in particular § 4, are complied with. Stored data is deleted immediately if it is no longer required or if the interests of the data subjects worthy of protection prevent further storage.
- The house and pool rules apply to general pool operations. Exceptions may be permitted for special events or use by certain groups of people (e.g. school and club swimming) without the need to repeal the house and pool rules.
- Political activities, events, demonstrations, the distribution of printed matter, the display of posters or notices, the collection of signature lists and the use of the baths for commercial or other purposes not customary in the baths are only permitted with the approval of the operator.
§3 Opening hours, prices
- The opening hours and the valid price list are announced on the notice board or can be viewed at the cash desk.
- The bathing and sauna area must be vacated 15 minutes before the end of opening hours.
- Special admission requirements and opening hours may be stipulated for school and club swimming as well as for courses and events for certain groups of people.
- If the use of individual offers or individual parts of the pool is restricted or if the pool is closed during operation, there is no entitlement to a reduction or refund.
- Purchased tickets or other access authorizations will not be refunded.
- The access authorization (coin) received at the cash desk or the receipt issued when purchasing the access authorization must be kept until you leave the pool.
§4 Access
- In principle, every person is free to visit the company; restrictions may be imposed in certain cases.
- Every user must be in possession of a valid access authorization (coin) for the respective area of use. When entering the area of use, it is not permitted to pass on the access authorization (coin).
- The bather must keep his or her coin and the following items provided by the pool operator
- Locker key
- Rental items (bathrobe, towel, etc.)
in such a way that loss is avoided. In particular, they must wear them on their body, e.g. wristband, have them with them when walking in the pool and not leave them unattended. Failure to comply with these requirements in the event of loss constitutes culpable behavior on the part of the bathing guest. In the event of a dispute, it is the responsibility of the bathing guest to prove that the aforementioned proper safekeeping has been observed.
4. children from 6 to 16 years of age must be accompanied by a suitable adult. Further regulations and age restrictions (e.g. sauna facilities, wellness areas, are possible. The accompanying persons must supervise the children for the entire duration of their stay. Children under the age of 5 may only use the thermal spa for exercise therapy if prescribed by a doctor.
5. persons who are unable to move around safely without assistance are only permitted to use the pools together with a suitable accompanying person.
6. persons are not permitted to enter:
- who are under the influence of intoxicating substances,
- the animals carry with them,
- who suffer from a notifiable communicable disease (in case of doubt, a medical certificate may be required) or open wounds.
§5 Rules of conduct
- Users must refrain from doing anything that is contrary to good morals and the maintenance of safety, peace and order.
- The facilities of the pool, including the rental items, must be treated with care. In the event of improper use or damage, the user shall be liable for any damage incurred. A special cleaning charge may be levied for culpable soiling that goes beyond the extent of intended use, the amount of which is determined on a case-by-case basis according to expenditure.
- Different clothing regulations apply in individual bathroom areas.
- Barefoot areas may not be entered with street shoes. Any aids brought along, such as wheelchairs or walking frames as well as wheeled suitcases, must be cleaned by the user or their companion before entering the barefoot area.
- Users are not permitted to use musical instruments, sound or image reproduction devices and other media if this causes a nuisance to other users.
- Photographing and filming other people and groups without their consent is not permitted. For commercial purposes and for the press, photography and filming requires the prior permission of the management.
- You must clean your body before using the pools. Shaving, nail cutting, hair dyeing etc. are not permitted.
- Every user must be prepared for the typical dangers of a bathing establishment by exercising increased caution, e.g. wet or soapy floor surfaces. Non-slip bathing shoes are required.
- The use of sports and play equipment is not permitted. Swimming aids are only permitted with the consent of the supervisory staff.
- Food and drinks may only be brought in for personal consumption and may only be consumed in the designated areas. Bringing alcoholic beverages is prohibited. In the catering area, food and drinks brought in may only be consumed at the "self-catering tables".
- Fragile containers (e.g. containers made of glass or porcelain) may not be brought in.
- Smoking is only permitted in the designated areas. This also applies to electronic cigarettes and shishas.
- Lost property must be handed over to the staff and will be handled in accordance with the statutory provisions.
- Checkroom lockers and/or safe deposit boxes are only available for use during the validity of the user's access authorization. There is no entitlement to use. After closing time, all lockers and valuables compartments that are still locked will be opened and cleared if necessary. The contents will be treated as lost property.
- Loungers and chairs may not be permanently covered with towels, bags or other objects. Objects placed on the loungers and chairs will be removed by the staff if necessary. All seating, lounger and rest areas may only be used with a dry bath towel and/or bathrobe.
§6 Liability
- The operator is generally not liable for damages suffered by users. This does not apply to liability for breach of a material contractual obligation and for liability for damages to the user arising from injury to life, limb or health, nor for damages suffered by the user due to an intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty by the operator, its legal representatives or vicarious agents. Essential contractual obligations are those whose fulfillment is essential for the proper execution of the contract and on whose compliance the user may regularly rely.
- The essential contractual obligation of the operator includes in particular, but not exclusively, the use of the bathing facilities, unless they are partially closed for compelling operational reasons, as well as participation in the events offered and included in the admission price. The limitation of liability according to paragraph 1 sentences 1 and 2 also applies to the vehicles parked in the parking spaces of the baths.
- The user is expressly advised not to take any valuables into the pool. The operator does not assume any security or duty of care for any valuables brought into the pool. The operator is only liable for the loss of valuables, cash and clothing in accordance with the statutory regulations. This also applies to damage to items by third parties.
- The depositing of money or valuables in a checkroom locker and/or a safe deposit box provided by the operator does not create any obligations on the part of the operator with regard to the deposited items. In particular, no safekeeping obligations are established. It is the sole responsibility of the user, when using a checkroom locker and/or a safe deposit box, to lock them properly, to check that the respective device is securely locked and to store the keys/data carriers carefully.
- In the event of culpable loss of the items provided by the pool operator in accordance with § 4 (3), the following lump sums will be charged:
- Coin 5,00 €
- Bathrobe 40,00 €
- Towel 20,00 €
- Locker key 20,00 €
The user is expressly permitted to prove that no damage has occurred at all or that it is significantly lower than the lump sum. If the aforementioned items are found and the user has left his contact details with the pool operator, the pool operator will contact him and offer to refund the lump sum paid.
Regarding the loss of the coin: The receipt issued when purchasing the coin must be kept until the user leaves the spa. If the coin is lost, this receipt makes it possible to determine the amount that was credited to the coin, e.g. because the user used the coin to purchase food and drinks in the spa. The user must pay this amount plus the aforementioned € 5.00 for the loss of the coin. If the amount charged cannot be determined due to the loss of the coin and the receipt, the user must pay € 25.00.

A 1.2 Regulations for bathing in the swimming pool
§7 General rules of conduct
(1) The user is responsible for locking the checkroom locker/security locker and keeping the key safe.
(2) The stay in the bathing area of the Paracelsus-Therme is only permitted in normal swimwear without bags.
(3) It is forbidden to jump in from the side, push or throw other people into the pools, as well as swimming or diving in the exercise pools.
(4) The water attractions on offer require caution and consideration for other users. During gymnastics or aqua fitness, swimming is only permitted in the rear area if capacity allows, so that participants are not prevented from doing gymnastics.
(5) The use of sports and play equipment is not permitted. Swimming aids are only permitted with the consent of the supervisory staff. The use of eye protection goggles (swimming goggles) is at your own risk.
(6) Loungers may only be used with a bathrobe or with a dry, body-sized pad.
(7) The catering facilities may only be visited wearing a bathrobe or a dry bath towel that covers the body.
(8) For hygienic reasons, seat pads/seat cloths should be used in steam and hot-air rooms made of ceramic or plastic. The seating surfaces should be cleaned with existing water hoses.
(9) You must shower before using the sweat rooms and exercise pools.
A 1.3 Regulations for bathing in the sauna
§8 Purpose and use of the sauna facility
(1) The sauna facility serves to promote the health and relaxation of users. There are recommendations from the German Sauna Association (Deutscher Sauna-Bund e. V.) in this regard.
(2) The sauna facility is a textile-free area. Special regulations apply in certain areas (e.g. relaxation rooms, gastronomy).
(3) Sexual acts and depictions are prohibited.
§9 Behavior in the sauna facility
(1) The sweat rooms may only be used without clothing.
(2) Loungers may only be used with a bathrobe or with a dry, body-sized pad.
(3) The catering facilities may only be visited wearing a bathrobe or a dry bath towel that covers the body.
(4) Sauna and hot-air rooms with wooden benches may only be used with a sufficiently large towel that corresponds to body size. The wooden parts must not be contaminated by sweat.
(5) For hygienic reasons, seat pads/seat cloths should be used in steam and hot-air rooms made of ceramic or plastic. The seating surfaces should be cleaned with existing water hoses.
(6) Technical installations (e.g. radiators, lighting fixtures, sauna heating units including their protective grilles and sensors) may not be covered with objects.
(7) Only a towel/sitting mat should be taken into sweat rooms.
(8) Bathing shoes may not be worn in the sauna and warm air rooms.
(9) For reasons of mutual consideration, no loud conversations, sweat scraping, brushing and scratching are not permitted in sweat rooms. Skin rubs/peelings with products you have brought yourself, such as salt, honey etc., are not permitted.
(10) A shower must be taken before using the sweat rooms, the cold-water plunge pool or other bathing pools.
(11) Users must behave considerately and quietly in quiet rooms. Noise must be avoided in quiet/absolute rest rooms.
(12) There is an absolute ban on smartphones in the sauna facilities, and telephoning, taking photos and filming is also prohibited. Electronic media that can be used to take photographs and/or film (e.g. smartphone, tablet, e-book reader, etc.) may only be taken and used in designated areas. The camera must then be covered with a sticker by the staff.
§10 Special notes
(1) Persons with health problems should clarify whether there are any particular risks for them when bathing in the sauna.
(2) Traditionally, there are special conditions in saunas and other sweating rooms, such as higher room temperatures, subdued lighting, stepped benches and different heat sources. These require special care on the part of the user.
(3) Sauna infusions may only be carried out by staff.
